Qatar’s award winning dance team set to compete in 2024 UDO World competition in UK is preparing their Send-Off show that will thrill audiences this August 2024.

During the halftime show at the season opener for the Doha International Basketball Championships last Sept 25-30, 2023, CREWQ and THE COACHES raced out onto the court. As they began their winning competition pieces and choreographed step routine, the energy level in the gym ramped up, with the amazed crowd responding with cheers and applause.

CREWQ has become an exciting group performing in a sports entertainment events.

Doha International Basketball Championships was organized by Doha Active Sports

CREWQ WON BRONZE MEDAL IN UDO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2023.

CREWQ Jr secured the 7th Place in the U14 Beginners, and CREWQ Sr won 4th Place in the U18 Novice Category of the UDO World Championship 2023 in UK.

CREWQ brought pride and honor again to Qatar with CREWQ Jr and CREWQ Sr bring off the Bronze Medals in the U14 Beginner and U18 Novice Categories, at the UDO WORLD Championship 2023 held at Blackpool, United Kingdom.

With over 35 nations represented and 4,000 dancers taking the stage, the competition was intense. Among the contestants were talented teams from European and Asian Championship winners who have showed a strong fights.

Through profound performances of CREWQ Jr and CREWQ Sr claimed remarkable Bronze medal.

During the Preliminary round of the U14 Beginners Division, CREWQ JR led the way, landing in 6th Place and powered their way into the Semi Finals as 3rd.

CREWQ Sr triumphs continued placing also 3rd rank preliminary and secured in Finals in the U18 Novice category.

Both teams secured a notable Bronze medals per UDO World Championship classification.

This ambitious achievement showcases the immense talent of Youth illuminating the Qatar on
the world stage and adding to the establishing list of accomplishments that give dance community of Doha a reason to celebrate.

July 2023 Qatar. MFEC Street Dance – Doha Team ‘scale up’ to compete again in the UDO World 2023 in Blackpool, UK this August 23-27. Created 2 groupsthis year – CREWQ Junior has qualified in U14 Beginners category while CREWQ Senior defending champs is back to compete U18 Novice category. MFEC Street dance programs supplemented CREWQ team encouragement to pursue an international dance journey and build as artists. This program is offered to students who want to advance their technique, performance, drive, discipline, dedication, focus and passion. CREWQ team training aims to instill in each member the importance of upholding commitments, challenging oneself, working hard, achieving goals, and being a team player. Aside from gaining these values and skills, dancers also gain a lot of confidence, have more performance opportunities, make priceless memories, build lifelong friendships, and become a part of a great family atmosphere. CREWQ are currently made up of about 18 hardworking (Junior and Senior) dancers who are diversely trained. Senior team declared UDO U16 Beginners Champ last year and have consistently proven to be quite the force when they perform.

MFEC’s Street Dance arm is a professional ensemble of performers who thrive on delivering dance classes/workshop to engage people of all ages looking for artistic self-expression, Exercise and/or social opportunities through dance. Since its founding, MFEC’s Street Dance continues to explore and cultivate the craft and is committed to hone and develop the skills of a younger generation of talented freestylers dance artists, right here in Qatar. perform in style and to experience techniques that include the full spectrum of movement including intricate, imaginative and entertaining choreography.

Proudly represented Filipino talent on the global dance arena- CREWQ’s world title in the UK UDO World Championship made these founding members as the first Filipino choreographers/Dance artist in Qatar secured world history. The notable victory is through creative direction of Gerald Hernandez’ and impeccable choreography performed by CREWQ where they became the first ever dance crew to present and brought pride to Qatar winning the World Title.

UDO World Championship 2023:

Scheduled to be held at Winter Gardens in the UK August 23rd, 2023, the United World Dance Championship is known as the best street dance and hip-hop dancer in the World with Qualifying events running throughout the year in the UK and Europe.

At the event, thousands of dancers from across the globe come together to compete for World Champion titles in front of the world’s best Street Dance and Hip Hop dance celebrity judges. The UDO World Street Dance Championships is the height of the annual Street Dance and Hip Hop dance competition calendar.

CREWQ Training:

The team began learning choreography in April, training five times a week. Conditioning Coach Ayoub said “CrewQ Senior is ready and with constant determination and winning attitude CrewQ Juniors is more than ready. CrewQ Senior member Maeva said she’d be happy to repeat the experience and compete year after year.

“I’m ready.” Maeva said. “I would go through plenty of training to have the best performance.”

Dance Art and purpose for all:

MFEC and CREWQ Trainings aims to provide quality dance education for students while also offering opportunities to grow in the fields of dance, and arts. Both believe in creating a space to nurture young talents through passionate mentorship.

MFEC Street dance is a fruit that bore from long-standing efforts to support the youth through the arts. It started last after Aristotle Hernandez, founder support CrewQ scholars to compete. After the success and winning, CREWQ will return to UDO with a bigger plan and purpose: to nurture passionate and bright talents, while making street dance more accessible to a wider Qatar Youth.

Through their sharp moves and sick grooves, these remarkably talented dance crews have made the Qatar proud on the dance floor.
